Up early and on our way back to Seisia where we will be able to access the Internet for the 1st time since Cooktown. Rode through some tough corrugations and then some showers. Passed on the road by Michael & Janet who sat with us at dinner last night. Michael jumped out to take photos and pass his email address.
Stopped at the Croc Tent to buy souvenirs for our families. Can't help but be impressed at the friendliness and helpfulness there. Thanks Dale, Lee and Jackson.
Jackson, about 3 pointed out this tree frog to us.Back at Bamaga we stopped to get some morning tea, big sausage rolls straight out of the oven, yummy! Also bought some crayfish wraps for lunch. These were excellent.
On the road down to Seisia the rain started again as we descended the big hill. Going 60 km an hour blinded by the rain was just a bit scary.
When we got to the camping park we decided to book into a cabin for a number of reasons: weather - rain has come and gone frequently the last few days, access to power points for charging our devices, and we thought it would be more comfortable for blogging. Of course it stopped raining and the Internet wifi range was too limited to reach the cabin. We did get to charge our devices and to use the kitchen to cook dinner. Blogging was frustrating because the Internet required us to go and sit somewhere near the park office and was very slow as well.
